Social Media Executive (Malaysia)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Content strategy: Play an integral part in ideation and developing content strategy for brands on social networking platforms
  • Content writing: Crafting content for social media reflecting our clients’ brand personalities plus achieving their business objectives
  • Project communications:
    • Present content ideas to client
    • Communicate closely with clients and project team members to ensure high quality work delivery
  • Social analytics: Reading social analytics report, analyse data, derive findings and recommend action plans to drive continuous improvements
  • Listening: Keeping your antenna up high, be informed on what is trending and relevant to client’s business. Look out for threats and opportunities
  • Learning: Be hungry for knowledge. Learn about clients’ products/services, digital/social trends, keep building your knowledge to stay relevant and value-add to clients’ business
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience preferred
  • BA/BS – Social Media/Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism, business administration or related field of study preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Strong command of spoken and written English with a flair for writing creative copy
  • Fanatical towards digital trends and usage of the different social networking sites
  • Possess a positive mindset and always ready to learn or try new things
  • Disciplined and results-oriented, always motivated to deliver better results
  • Ability to adapt style and tone of voice to suit a range of different clients and industries
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and campaign schedules
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
